1983年7月获大连轻工业学院(现为大连工业大学)食品工程系工学学士学位

1986年7月获华南理工大学食品工程系工学硕士学位

1997年7月获华南理工大学轻化工研究所工学博士学位

1999年4月获香港大学理学院植物学系哲学博士学位

1986年7月起任华南理工大学食品工程系助教

1988年7月起任华南理工大学食品工程系讲师

1995年3月至9月在香港大学理学院植物学系任研究助理

1996年2月至1999年6月在香港大学理学院植物学系生物技术实验室从事研究工作

2001年11月调入中山大学生命科学学院国家教育部食品工程研究中心

2002年6月起任中山大学生命科学学院副研究员
