海洋科学学院举办第四届“海纳百川”模拟国际学术会议

2019年11月30日，第四届“海纳百川”模拟国际学术会议在珠海校区伍舜德学术交流中心举行。刘岚教授、李雁教授、邓俊杰副教授、董西洋副教授、高志增副教授、韩博副教授、胡湛副教授、李朴副教授、卢建国副教授、王策副教授、王梦媛副教授、王牧骅副教授、谢伟副教授、张恒副教授、吴驰华副研究员、李兰博士后、林贤彪博士后、刘英飞博士后、郑浩博士后等受邀担任“海洋动力与物质运输过程” “海洋环境与生态动力过程”“海洋生物资源与深海生物学” “海洋沉积过程与资源效应”等四个分论坛专家评委，来自大气科学学院、海洋工程与技术学院、地球科学与工程学院、物理与天文学院、化学工程与技术学院、旅游学院、岭南学院等90余名研究生和本科生参加了本次会议。

会上，会议学术委员会轮值主席刘岚教授致开幕辞。刘岚教授表示非常高兴看到本届会议规模远超举办之初，参赛人数刷新纪录，她对大气科学学院、海洋工程与技术学院、地球科学与工程学院、物理与天文学院、旅游学院等大会报告人的参与表示热烈的欢迎，正是他们体现了本次会议“海纳百川”的精神。刘岚教授指出，在海洋科学学院建院短短11年的时间里，越来越多的毕业生活跃在国际学术会议的舞台上，不断涌现出以万蕊雪为代表的世界知名青年学者。刘岚教授鼓励同学们珍惜参加此次模拟国际会议的机会，锻炼自己的学术交流能力，为以后走上世界舞台做好准备。

随后，大会进入分论坛报告环节。经过初审进入大会报告的 22名博士研究生、29名硕士研究生及7名本科生通过口头报告或展板报告的方式从研究主题、科研进展、研究成果等多个方面进行科学研究工作展示，与评委和听众展开热烈交流。专家评委们高度赞扬了此次会议报告人的精彩报告，并就报告人的现场表现提出了以下几点建议：1）增强与听众的互动，注意介绍研究课题的背景，演讲时注意与听众的眼神交流，以达到更好的学术交流效果；2）提高展示的逻辑性，即W-H-W-S-T，包括why（为什么要做这项研究）、how（怎么完成这项工作）、what（这项研究解决的问题）、so（这项研究的结论）、then（接下来的研究计划）；3）增强英文表达的信心，相信自己的研究，才能说服别人；4）加强英语口语的练习，锻炼在公开场合演说的能力，以更高的标准要求自己。

经过激烈的角逐，高栋、李敏纯、练思媚、尤凌霞等4名同学荣获口头报告一等奖，陈嘉欣、汲忠娟、焦海菁、王海阳等4名同学荣获口头报告二等奖，陈明懿、李浩、廖健林、杨倩等4名同学荣获口头报告三等奖，其余选手凭借优异的表现荣获优秀奖；董昊岩等9名同学荣获最佳展板奖，陈洁云等多名同学获展板优秀奖。

据悉，“海纳百川” 模拟国际学术会议由中山大学海洋科学学院主办、中山大学海洋科学学院研究生会承办，自2016年以来已举办四届，面向全校涉海相关学科的研究生和本科生征文，旨在促进海洋学子的学术交流，营造“学在中大，追求卓越”的良好学风，培养德才兼备、富有领袖气质和家国情怀的海洋卓越人才。本届会议以“海洋科学发展与技术创新”为主题，以海洋动力与物质运输过程、海洋沉积过程与资源效应、海洋环境与生态动力过程、海洋生物资源与深海生物学等为分论坛关键词，共收到口头报告65篇、展板报告57篇，分别来自大气科学学院、海洋工程与技术学院、地球科学与工程学院、物理与天文学院、生命科学学院、中山医学院、旅游学院、历史学系等学院。
