Background

To strengthen innovation in marine science and technology, promote international cooperation and academic exchange across disciplines, institutions, and sectors in marine research, and advance the development of marine science, the 4th Annual Conference of Marine System Science will be held on October 24–27, 2026 at the Zhuhai Campus of Sun Yat-sen University. The conference is co-hosted by Sun Yat-sen University and the Southern Marine Science and Engineering Guangdong Laboratory (Zhuhai), and organized by the School of Marine Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University. Scholars and experts from universities and research institutions around the world, along with student representatives and industry professionals, will gather in Zhuhai to engage in in-depth discussions and intellectual exchanges on cutting-edge scientific questions in marine system science.
