个人简介

主要从事海洋鲸豚的群体遗传学和群体动力学研究通过对海洋鲸豚类特别是中华白海豚的种群遗传结构研究,阐明了中国海域中华白海豚群体保护和管理单元,为制定遗传多样性保护策略提供了依据。同时,对海洋鲸豚类的进化基因组学以及物种形成研究,从基因组水平上探索鲸豚分化相关的基因与基因功能缺失以及极端环境胁迫下鲸豚适应性进化的模式与机制。近年着重于珠江口中华白海豚应对环境变化的响应以及海洋鲸豚对污染物协迫的响应机制研究,分析中华白海豚群体的社会结构,结合群体学参数建立动物群体发展模型,为制定保护濒危动物措施和策略提供科学依据先后参与973计划课题、国家海洋公益性行业专项课题、国家自然科学基金和国际合作等20多项课题;发表SCI论文50余篇,获授权发明专利1项,参编专著2部。曾获广东省科学技术一等奖,第二届广东省“巾帼科技创新带头人”,广东省“三八红旗手”。
